Morning

Begin at the earliest known human campsite in North America. The Meadowcroft Rockshelter and Museum of Rural Life will transport you from a true prehistoric camp to a hands-on, 1890’s settlers village. Young America is on the balance at the 1788 Bradford House, a key site of the Whiskey Rebellion – the first challenge to our new nation’s existence. Lunch/Afternoon

After a lunch with local flavor, let the LeMoyne House welcome you to Pennsylvania’s first National Historic Landmark of the Underground Railroad. This stately 1812 home, busy medical practice and apothecary was also a safe stop for escaping slaves along freedom’s path. Fast forward to marvels of the industrial age at the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum. Enjoy restored and ridable trolley cars, including the actual streetcar named “Desire.” Take light refreshment and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the Shoppes at Quail Acres. Shop the specialty and gourmet stores that occupy this charming 1830s homestead.

Evening/Dinner

At the end of the day, bring down the curtain, step into the winner’s circle or chalk up a victory.
