A woman of many hats (and all fashionable), Bev leads the department in countless ways—including, but certainly not limited to, the 'breath of joy' yoga exercise in staff meetings. Bev is indeed a spirited champion of Pittsburgh and works endlessly to shine the spotlight on this city. Whether it is through direct marketing, advertising campaigns, billboards or radio and TV interviews, Bev is one of Pittsburgh’s most outspoken advocates, and will entertain you in the process.

Bev is big on Pittsburgh’s art scene, and is frequently seen out and about at many of the region’s excellent museums and galleries. "New York’s got nothing on Pittsburgh," says Bev. "And I know because I used to live there."

Lynne Glover

Associate Director

Lynne is the resident writer for VisitPittsburgh. That is, she’s the go-to girl when it comes to writing press releases, advertorials, brochure copy, letters and the like for all that is VisitPittsburgh. She also meets and greets visiting press to show off Pittsburgh, and loves to share insider information about Pittsburgh’s many hidden treasures.

The best thing about Pittsburgh, according to Lynne, are its bridges. "I don’t care how many times I see them, walk over them or drive past them, they are just simply beautiful. And, when I see them, I know I’m home."

Susan McGrane

Publications Manager

When she’s not orchestrating VisitPittsburgh’s annual meeting, Suzie manages the production of all VisitPittburgh publications, including EventSource, the Official Visitors Guide to Pittsburgh, Convention Services Directory and more. And that’s Suzie’s voice you hear on the recording for the weekly activities line.

Suzie’s favorite thing about Pittsburgh? The hills. "It still knocks me out when I drive down the street and there they are in the background. Sometimes they look bluish green, like shadows, other times they are covered in snow or bursting with fall colors," she says.

Kristin Mitchell

Public Relations Liaison

Kristin Mitchell could be called the Queen of Press Tours, she’s so good at organizing them. Kristin, in fact, is who you’ll want to contact to help coordinate your visit to Pittsburgh. She’ll help create the itinerary that’s just right for you. She also helps with other media requests including access to high-res photos, b-roll footage and setting up press interviews.

Besides loving her job (and being so crazy good at it), Kristin loves Pittsburgh’s spectacular skyline best. "It may sound trite, but our skyline is the best," says Kristin.
