Neighborhood Business + Development Associations

• Bloomfield Business Association

  A nonprofit organization whose purpose is to strengthen and maintain the business district by building participation among businesses and the community, enhancing the district's image and physical appearance and promoting the unique and ethnic characteristics of Bloomfield.

• Central Northside Neighborhood Council

  A community-based organization representing the neighborhood of the Central Northside. CNNC's mission is to advocate, plan, and implement projects that preserve and improve the neighborhood.

• Lawrenceville Corporation

  A non-profit community development corporation that focuses on bringing investment to the Pittsburgh neighborhood of Lawrenceville.

• Mt. Washington Community Development Corporation

  An organization of the Mt. Washington/Duquesne Heights community whose mission is to balance area development, highlight the area's unique natural and historic features, and enhance the well-being of the people who live, work and visit the neighborhood.

• Neighbors in the Strip

  A group of Strip District stakeholders united in their efforts to promote economic development opportunities while preserving the personality, integrity and character of the Strip.

• Regent Square Civic Association

  An organization that serves all residents, businesses, and property owners in Regent Square, a neighborhood comprised of sections of four municipalities: Edgewood, Pittsburgh, Swissvale and Wilkinsburg. The RSCA acts as a liaison to government agencies, organizes community events, initiates neighborhood improvements, collaborates with other community organizations, disseminates information to the community, and operates as an advocate on community-wide issues.

• Oakland Business Improvement District

  An organization dedicated to improving the cleanliness, appearance, and perception of safety in Oakland, bringing about revitalization, preserving Oakland’s unique commercial environment, and undertaking marketing and development initiatives to make Oakland a vibrant destination for visitors, residents, owners, employees, and students.

• Shadyside Chamber of Commerce

  Promotes local businesses and commerce in the neighborhood of Shadyside.

• Southside Local Development Company

  A non-profit community development organization committed to the historic preservation and economic development of Pittsburgh’s South Side. It is one of the premier community development corporations in Pittsburgh and its projects and programs have been used as case studies nationwide.

• Squirrel Hill Urban Coalition

  A non-profit community group dedicated to preserving and improving the quality of life in the 14th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh.
